Caregivers & Family Image

Being a caregiver has its rewards and its challenges. After being diagnosed with heart failure, the person you're caring for may need more support than ever before. As their caregiver, you play one of the most important roles in helping to ensure their treatment is a success.

Your ongoing encouragement makes a difference. Help them make the daily choices that will reduce their heart failure symptoms and improve their health. Learn and share information with them on diet and exercise. Most importantly, remember that neither of you has to face this alone; there is a wealth of educational and support resources available.
